Hi! I’m Wendy. My journey with Atrial Fibrillation began many years ago, and like so many of you, I spent a long time navigating the ‘unwelcome news’ and the quiet fear that comes with a changing heart rhythm. I spent years learning how to cope, not just physically, but emotionally.
This inspired me to create a space where we can talk about the things doctors don’t always have time for. You know, the guilt of needing a midday rest, the anxiety of a flare-up, and the power of shared stories. I am a certified coach and an author, but most importantly, I am someone who walks this path with you.
My passion for connection led to the ‘Beat by Beat’ community. It has been a joy to see thousands of people from around the globe come together. While I don’t provide medical advice, I offer the support and coaching I wish I’d had at the start. When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me resting with a good book and my dog, Jet. He’s become quite the expert at taking life one beat at a time, too.
